Legislation to increase penalty for high breath test results

The Texas Legislature has proposed a bill that would increase the punishment of people arrested for driving while intoxicated if they provide a breath test that is a .015 or above. It also increases the amount of time a person must spend in jail, if convicted of a first time DWI. See Senate Bill 26.

Remember, you have a right to refuse all tests!
